Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: Users of zSecure Collect exploiting the      *
*                 scanning operation of in-core modules and    *
*                 PDS members (SCAN=YES processing option).    *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Collect issues an ABEND0C4      *
*                      while performing the scanning operation *
*                      of in-core modules and PDS members in   *
*                      cases where a module/PDS member size is *
*                      greater than 16MB.                      *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
****************************************************************
When zSecure Collect is running with the SCAN=YES processing
option it issues an ABEND0C4 in cases where a size of the data
to be scanned is greater than 16MB.

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Collect has been modified so that the scanning operation
of in-core modules and PDS members does not cause an ABEND0C4 in
cases where the size of the data to be scanned is greater than
16MB.
