  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * 1. ATF takes >3 minutes to terminate.                        *
  *                                                              *
  * 2. Missing extended DLI call information                     *
  *  on ATF panels for an FP DB call made                        *
  *  from a CICS application.                                    *
  * 3. Slow response when viewing ATF                            *
  * Application Trace Summary.                                   *
  * 4. ATF records lack an indicator of                          *
  * Exception which is needed by IMSPA and                       *
  * other tools to process records extracted                     *
  *  from ATF Detail logstream.                                  *

  * 5. ATF does not report 3rd-party ESS                         *
  * calls correctly.                                             *

  1. ATF Task Controller routine corrupts the pointer to a
     control block referenced at ATF shutdown.
  2. ATF Data Collector uses an incorrect pointer to access
     the DLI parmlist for a DBT thread.
  3. ATF logstream reader routine lacks the logic to limit
     the record-set scope when reading backwards.
  4. As the ATF Exception Detail logstream no longer exists in
     v550, the Detail logstream now contains both the exception
     and non-exception records but there is no way to tell them
     apart without first reading the Summary logstreams.
  5. ATF does not support 3rd-party ESS calls.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. ATF Task Controller routine has been corrected to
     restore the pointer.
  2. ATF Data Collector has been corrected to use the
     appropriate DLI parmlist.
  3. Logic has been added in ATF logstream reader routine
     to use the trace start timestamp as the end of record-set.
  4. Flags have been defined in ATF records to indicate an
     Exception and Exception-Only. Refer to member KI2ATFSM in
     your <rte>.TKANSAM library.
  5. Support for 3rd-party ESS calls has been added.
