when using CKR8Z196 and reading CICS transaction data from a
CKFREEZE.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Admin/Audit might issue         *
*                      ABEND3E7 and MSGCKR999I while           *
*                      processing CICS transaction data.       *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *

When zSecure Admin/Audit is processing reports that use CICS
transaction data, it might run out of memory and issue ABEND3E7
and MSGCKR999I which begins with the text "Storage shortage for
task ...".

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Admin/Audit has been modified so that the storage above
the bar is used to store CICS transaction data and the program
does not issue ABEND3E7 and MSGCKR999I.
