OA53608: PFA FAILS WITH AIR042I WHEN USING JAVA 8 SR5

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• During the starting of the Predictive Failure Analysis (PFA), it
  does the validation for Java level.  With Java 8 SR5, PFA
  erroneously fails the validation
  and issues following messages and fails the start of PFA.
  AIR042I REQUEST TO INVOKE PFA JAVA METHODS FAILED. 159
  
  UNSUPPORTED JAVA VERSION FOUND IN /etc/PFA/ini FILE.
  
  AIR056I VALIDATION FAILED DURING PFA INITIALIZATION. PFA CANNOT
  BE
  STARTED.
  

Local fix

• Use Java 8 SR4.
