Error description

  • The automatic use of SHARED on a COPY command is not
    appropriate and can lead to duplicate UID/GID values.
    

Local fix

  • Override the default values when copying a user or group.

    The fix for this APAR updates the "COPY USER" interface of
    zSecure Admin so that the user is prompted to select how an
    UID is determined.

    interface provides a better way of controlling the copying of
    OMVS user segment data. Please note the documentation changes
