The RCELPARE count was not adjusted to reflect this. 3) Possible ABENDC0D RSN13000401 in frame move processing after backout of CONFIG STOR,OFF due to double free of frame. 4) MSGIEA303W while attempting to initialize the PCIE area as quad frames on systems with a single address increment. 5) Possible data loss when attempting to steal (via local i.e. UIC steal) 1M frame that is unchanged in real. If frame becomes changed during steal processing, data may be lost and the application may subsequently see a page of zeros. 6) Possible ABEND071 during local steal processing due to a lack of disablement time checking while processing frames for a particular queue. 7) Possible ABEND058 during local steal processing when attempting to demote 1M pages. 8) RSMDATA EXCEPTION DATASPACES ALL results in incorrect IAR81003I REASON CODE 0C00B001 messages. The reported PFTEs were (1) available and a free queue id of '05'x or (2) not available and had an ASID of 'FFFC'x. 9) Possible ABEND178 RSN1C in MASTER when an LSQA GETMAIN request cannot be satisfied because the page table that maps the VSA that VSM has selected is paged out. 10) RSM incorrectly uses CRDTE instruction as a means of demoting data space 1M frames, resulting in residual data not being flushed from translation lookaside buffers (TLBs).
Problem conclusion
1) Update move frame recovery processing to scan queues for PFTE and to correctly handle not finding the PFTE. 2) The RCELPARE count will be adjusted if the PLPA is paged out to SCM. 3) Reconfiguration processing is changed to only re-initialize frames that were already taken offline. 4) RSM changed to handle systems with a single address increment and PCIE 1M frames. 5) Local steal processing is changed to invalidate the 1M page prior to determining whether the backing frame is changed. 6) Local steal processing is changed to check disablement time before processing each frame and abort if necessary. 7) Local steal processing will no longer issue a CMSET when attempting to demote common 1M frames. 8) RSMDATA EXCEPTION processing is changed to not issue exception messages for these types of PFTEs. 9) RSM changed to make page tables in the MASTER address space ineligible for paging. 10) RSM is changed to use CSP instead of CRDTE. Additional enhancements: Health checks IBMRSM,RSM_INCLUDE1MAFC and IBMRSM,RSM_MINIMUM_REAL now enabled. Enhance RSM processing during IPL to reduce the number of frames z/OS touches under zVM until the frames are used. Enhance local steal processing to take into account the reset reference bit extended (RRBE) instruction condition code to improve efficiency. Enhance local steal to steal DREF frames aged by IARV64 DISCARDDATA KEEPREAL=YES that are unchanged. Enhance local steal processing to not check the changed or referenced status of the frame it is stealing when the caller is DUMPSRV. Aged frames will be paged to auxiliary storage without checking referenced or changed status. Enhance local steal demotion processing is changed to avoid invoking CMSET if the target space is logically swapped.
