OA52926: C2PACMON CAN ISSUE MULTIPLE ABENDS IF OPTION PRE-CONSOLIDATE IS ACTIVATED WITHOUT FULL RESTART

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Trying to activate pre-consolidation without a complete RESTART
  will cause 0C4 abends. Thjis is due to a defect in the code
  where an incorrect value (or values) is set. This only occurs
  if pre-consolidation is activated during an (automatic,
  internal) refresh/consolidate operation.

  When the PreConsolidate option is activated without a restart of
  the Access Monitor STC, an ABEND0C4 might occur at the next
  consolidate cycle or when the command 'F C2PACMON,CONS OLIDATE '
  is issued.
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Access Monitor has been modified so that activating the
  PreConsolidate option without a restart of the Access Monitor
  STC does not result in an ABEND0C4.
