OA52669: TYPE=SMFOPT ISSUES MESSAGE CKR2408 FOR SUBTYPES>127

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When capturing SMF TYPE 99 records with a subtype of greater
  than 128, zSecure will issue a CKR2408 message indicating that
  the subtype is undocumented. This behavior can be seen in any
  CARLa NEWLIST query that is of TYPE=SMFOPT.
  

Local fix

• Suppress message 2408 using "SUPPRESS MSG=2408" to hide the
  messages

  When there are SMF sub-types with number greater than 127 are
  defined in a system, zSecure issues a series of MSGCKR2408 which
  begin with the text "SMF subtype <number> not supported for
  type <number>..." while processing SMF subsystem report
  (newlist type SMFOPT).
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Admin/Audit has been modified so it supports SMF
  sub-types with numbers up to 32767 in SMF subsystem report
  (newlist type SMFOPT). Please note the documentation changes as
  provided by the APAR tracking comment data.
