Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: Users of zSecure Alert who have selected     *
*                 alerts that issue TSO commands.              *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The zSecure Alert started task gets an  *
*                      ABEND0C4-3B when an alert tries to      *
*                      execute a TSO command.                  *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
****************************************************************
When an alert tries to issue a TSO command, for instance alert
1115 with the option "REVOKE USERID" selected it gets an
ABEND0C4-3B.

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure has been modified so that alerts that issue TSO
commands do not abend.
