Error description

  • Remote queue manager names displayed in RE.Q.QU reports are
truncated if the non-z/OS remote queue manager names are
greater than 4 characters.

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: Users of zSecure Audit exploiting the MQ     *
*                 Queue reports.                               *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Audit does not display a full   *
*                      value for the remote MQ manager name in *
*                      the MQ Queue reports.                   *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
****************************************************************
When a remote MQ manager name exceeds 4 characters, the zSecure
Audit does not allow to display a full value in the
corresponding report field (CARLa field REMOTE_QMGR).

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Audit has been modified so that the full remote MQ
manager name can be displayed.
