OA51756: IDC3009I 56-6 FOR DELETE GDS WHEN AUTHORIZED TO DATA SET 17/02/08 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A 56-6 security verification error is issued incorrectly when
  deleting a GDS the user is authorized to.  In this situation the
  user is authorized on the data set level but not on the catalog
  level.  This is considered a rare circumstance since the
  scenario must involve a GDG in which all generations are
  cataloged in Extension (J) records

Local fix

• define a (+1) generation to the GDG and attempt deletes again.
  This will place that gds into the base allowing for delete logic
  to succeed.
