    Monitor when processing a large quantity of similar access
    event records.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Access Monitor started task     *
    *                      consumes an excessive amount of CPU     *
    *                      time while processing frequently        *
    *                      occurring similar access events.        *

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    When a lot of similar types of the access events (like FSACCESS
    or CSFOWH) are occurring frequently, the zSecure Access Monitor
    started task consumes an excessive amount of CPU time.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The zSecure Access Monitor program has been modified so that
    the amount of CPU time to process frequently occurring access
    events of a similar type have been reduced.
