Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All SA z/OS V3R4 and V3R5 customers. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: see description below... * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** SA 3.4 and SA 3.5: o The INGPLEX SLIP command has been enhanced. SA 3.5: o The *ITM add-on policy has been enhanced to make sure that the BASE_ITM APG has an automation name. o INGINFO has been enhanced to make it more robust and prevent a NOVALUE condition when a none-existent remote resource is specified in the header. o The INGGROUP command has been enhanced when used with ACTION=EXCLUDE against a Basic Group including a wildcard. Instead of resulting in an INGPYAMC service failure with RC=1001, msgING019I is now issued. o The ACF REQ=REPL command has been enhanced to issue msgAOF025I when an invalid keyword=value pair was specified, instead of silently ignoring this error. o The cursor positioning on the WHERE USED panel AOFGXWHU has been enhanced when specifying 'S entryname' on the command line. The selected name is now presented as the top line of the panel. o The *IBMCOMP add-on policy has been enhanced to change the message handling for z/OS Connect EE V2. o The *SAPSRV add-on policy has been enhanced. o Sample members INGESAF and INGSSAF have been modified to correct the definitions for AUTOPCR and AUTEVT1. o Changes have been made to support trace options in member CTIHSAZZ. o Changes have been made to prevent message IHVI121I Connection rejected. Function ACCEPT failed, RSN=121. o The INGAUTO command has been enhanced to better handle a resource name in AM notation. o Module INGPYXSR has been enhanced with additional trace statements.

How to Add a Message to Automation | |TOPIC: Inheritance Rules for Classes | |SUB-TOPIC: Define Relationships | | | |CHANGE: | | | | At the end of this sub-topic, after the existing sentence | | 'However the relationships are only inherited as a whole if | | no relationships are defined for the child object.' | | | | add the following new text: | | | | This means, on the relation ship panel, it's either all | | inherited data or no inherited data at all. As soon as | | inherited data is modified or new relationship data is added | | on the child level, all relationships are considered child | | (instance) definitions with no relationship inheritance at | | all. The only way to go back to class inheritance is to | | delete all the relationship(s) on the instance level. | | | +--------------------------------------------------------------+ +------ System Automation for z/OS Version 3 Release 5 --------+ | | |PROGRAM NUMBER: 5698-SA3 | | | |TITLE: System Automation for z/OS SC34-2716-00 | | Planning and Installation | | | |CHAPTER 10. Traditional SA z/OS Configuration | |TOPIC Step 34: Install TWS Automation in TWS | |SUBTOPIC: Step 34C: Update TWS Parameters and Exits | | | |CHANGE: | | | | Replace these existing two paragraphs: | | | | You must specify the CALL07(YES) parameter in the TWS/ESA | | initialization parameters. | | | | You must specify the CALL11(YES) parameter in the TWS/ESA | | initialization parameters if you want to monitor CP deletes. | | CP delete monitoring allows TWS Product Automation to clear | | outstanding SDF and NMC alerts when an application or | | operation is deleted from the current plan. | | | | with the following new text: | | | | You must specify the CALL07(YES) parameter in the TWS z/OS | | initialization parameters. | | | | You must specify the CALL11(NO) parameter in the TWS z/OS | | initialization parameters if you do not want to monitor CP | | deletes.
