Error description

  • Access Monitor does not record the ACCESS_PROFILE for some
    JESSPOOL access events. This leads to AM.2 "Compare" reporting
    differences which are incorrect (RC=4 vs RC=0).

Problem summary

    *                 profiles from the JESSPOOL class.            *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Access Monitor does not collect *
    *                      access events related to the JESSPOOL   *
    *                      resource class so that ACCESS_PROFILE   *
    *                      field is reported missing for such      *
    *                      events.                                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    Access events related to the JESSPOOL resource class are not
    always collected by the zSecure Access Monitor started task so
    that the ACCESS_PROFILE field is reported as missing.
    Consequently, the AM.2 "Compare" report displays a difference in
    the simulate RC 04 with the access RC 00.
    

Problem conclusion

  • zSecure Access Monitor has been modified so that the management
    of events related to the JESSPOOL resource class is improved.
    Please note the documentation changes as provided by the APAR
    tracking comment data.
