Error description

  • Volumes in a full-volume flashcopy relationship will
encounter a failure logged in LOGREC on when the
extents are released for a data set delete.
    For z/OS R13 fix, refer to OA49515.
The error will be recorded in LOGREC as:
    SECONDARY SYMPTOM STRING:
        PRCS/00000008 PRCS/00000002 PCSS/DDSR PCSS/8219

        SYMPTOM SYMPTOM DATA EXPLANATION
        --------------- ------------- -----------
        PRCS/00000008 00000008 RETURN CODE

        PCSS/8219 8219 SOFTWARE STATEMENT

The SERVL shows a RC8, RSN4, FUNC x'41' set of codes.

This error condition is expected and should not be logged in
LOGREC data as it needlessly fills the LOGREC data set.

This fix will suppress the I/O error and the symptom records
logged as a result of a FlashCopy Withdraw failure due to
withdrawing dataset extents which are engaged in a full-volume
incremental or PPRC Remote Pair FlashCopy Relationship.
    For z/OS r13, refer to OA49515 changes.
