* USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM Automation Control for      *
*                 z/OS.                                        *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IBM Automation Control for z/OS (IACz)  *
*                      was shipped without the support for     *
*                      revision tables. The usage of these     *
*                      tables is required by IACz customers.   *
*                      Also, several problems were found by    *
*                      development that do not have external   *
*                      symptoms.                               *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

Issuing a REVISE command results in message DWO038I and the
table is not activated. IACz was shipped without support for
MRTs and CRTs.
Also, several problems were found in the IACz code base.

  • Code is being changed to allow Message Revision Tables (MRT) and
Command Revision Tables (CRT) to be activated and used, without
restriction. Refer to NetView product documentation for
information on how to use these tables.
Note: In order to provide full support for revision tables,
changes included in Automation Manager APAR OA42827 are
required.
Also, the problems found by development are being corrected.
