Error description

  • Client receives the following XRC message(s) without a suspend
    to the mirror:

ANTX5132W XRC SESSION(session) ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR REPLICATING
A BITMAP OPERATION FROM PRIMARY VOLUME(volume) TO SWAP
     VOLUME(####) RC=1009 REAS=0000

    Additional message symptoms:
ANTX8149I SESSION(session) XSWAP MAY REQUIRE FULL RESYNC OF
     VOLUME PAIR(privol,secvol) RC=4510 REAS=0
ANTX5131W XSWAP OPERATION ON XRC SESSION(session) MAY REQUIRE
     FULL RESYNCHRONIZATION FOR 1 VOLUMES

    GDPS message symptom:
GEO364W XRC SYSTEM IS NOT READY FOR INCREMENTAL RESYNC, RC= 8

In this client's case, the MiscLow XRC environmental parameter
may be set too low for the query responses to the storage
    subsystem.

Local fix

  • Raise the MiscLow value higher than the default setting of 2 if
    channel extenders are being used.
