APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • HOD 11.0.6.0 was installed to use SHA-2 certificate.
The first time the client tried to access HOD after
upgrade of fix pack and new certificate the customer
gets a COMM 657.

Issue is the customer needs to cache several times to
get around the issue since the file is not caching
automatically.

Issue is new version of hasslite2.jar was not updated
properly, so the file did not get cached automatically.

Local fix

  • Apply the new hasslite2.jar

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: HOD cached clients using SHA2 certificates   *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When HOD is upgraded to 11.0.6.0 and    *
*                      the certificate is also upgraded to     *
*                      SHA2, users get a COMM 657 Error when   *
*                      they try to establish a session.        *

This problem was happening because the new hasslite2.jar
is not getting downloaded to the client.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem is resolved by making sure that the lstest version
of hasslite2.jar is updated properly in ccversions2.properties
files.

Fix scheduled for HOD 11.0.7.0 Refresh pack
