Backslashes in Take Action commands are not displayed or
handled correctly when the command is executed at the
monitoring server. This problem does not occur when the Take
Action command is executed at agents.

This problem occurs when the non-Windows system is set to
use codepage 943. This problem does not occur on Windows.

Problem conclusion

  • UNIX/Linux platforms now correctly use codepage 932 instead
of 943 similar to Windows. This problem has only been fixed
    on distributed platforms.
The backslash has been corrected for Take Action commands
executed on an agent framework on the monitoring server.
However, commands executed on a Universal Agent may still
    have this same problem.
