OA34144: BINDSERVER CODE FAILS TO INIT SERVER_INFO

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In khdxdacl.cpp the bindServer method allocates a server_info of
  type KHD_Pref_ServerInfo but fails to null the structure.  This
  causes a abend when an error path is taken on a bind failure.
  
  RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS:
  Force a bind failure on the WPA port that the agent will use to
  connect to WPA.
  

Local fix

• Make sure the WPA port is available and the code will not abend
  on a good connnection.  Only fails on a bad connection.

  During startup of the warehouse proxy agent, an abend can
  occur if the port configured for the warehouse proxy agent
  is already being used by another process running on the same
  system.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem was caused by an attempt to release an
  uninitialized pointer during port binding error processing.
  The code was modified to initialize the underlying structure
  to nulls thus preventing the attempt to free a rogue
  pointer.
