Error description

  • ABEND813-04 during HSM ARECOVERY (because incorrect blockid
in JFCRBIDO passed to OCE via EDGOCEOV while fast positioning
is on). The problem occurred while trying to OPEN a file twice
using DISP=NEW. HSM opened file 3 (using DISP=NEW) and set
header/trailer labels, but did not write any data to the tape.
After file 3 was closed, the same file 3 was opened a second
time (still using DISP=NEW) by DFSMSdss, and instead of RMM
passing OCE the block ID for the beginning of file sequence=3,
RMM passed a block ID for what would have been the start of
file sequence=4. This caused the tape to end up with two file
3s, where the first one was empty and second one contained data,
but the second file 3 could not be accessed using normal access
methods. An ABEND813 RC04 occurred when DFSMShsm later did
    ARECOVERY.
