  Are cut when SMS is activated because SMSVSAM requests new
  configuration information but uses a return area that is too
  small.
  
  This situation is documented in II14413 for third-parties.

• Entries can be ignored because RLS will retry with a larger size

  The following LOGREC entries are cut during RLS calls to SMS:

  This situation occurs becuase the length of the storage passed
  to SMS during the calls is too small. SMS will record the entry
  in the LOGREC and return to RLS the exact size of the storage
  needed. RLS will retry the request with the correct storage
  length.

  This APAR is being closed as FIN with the concurrence of the
  submitting customer. A solution to this problem will be
  delivered in a future DFSMS release, if there is one, within
  the next 18 to 24 months.
