Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All OMEGAMON II for CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CUA panel KC2T02D (Task History * * Details) displays 'FCT Requests .. 0' * * where the 3270 Bridge transaction id * * should be displayed. This occurs for * * all tasks regardless of whether they * * have a 3270 Bridge transaction id or * * not. * * * * CUA panels KC2C10D (Task Terminal * * Statistics) and KC2T27D (Task History * * Terminal Statistics) display incorrect * * BMS information. * * * * The SAS Historical Reporter fails * * with the following messages when * * reporting on a CICS/TS 3.2 region. * * * * WARNING: Apparent invocation of macro * * CICSV650 not resolved. * * ERROR 180-322: Statement is not valid * * or it is used out of proper order. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF. * **************************************************************** Incorrect mapping of the ONDV and TASK command output caused the CUA to incorrectly indentify tasks as having a 3270 Bridge transaction id and displayed an incorrect description of the 3270 Bridge information. The mapping also caused incorrect BMS information to be collected for tasks. The SAS Historical Reporter was not configured to support CICS/TS 3.2.
Problem conclusion
The CUA was changed to correctly map the output of the ONDV and TASK commands and to display the correct description for transactions that have a 3270 Bridge transaction id. The SAS Historical Reporter was changed to include support for CICS/TS 3.2.
