APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If using the OFILE to save a dataset list, pdse datasets
will show up only as PO, not PO-E as they did in past
releases.

Local fix

  • Contact Level2 ServerPac Support for a new copy module
CPP605M.
With the new module, the OFILE command will now give you the
keywords DSORG as specified in the line attribute panel:
HFS, PDS, PDSE, SEQ, VSAM, or ZFS.

Problem summary

  • A logic error in module CPP605M caused incorrect processing
of the OFILE command for PDS-E type data sets.

Problem conclusion

  • Module CPP605M has been corrected to properly report the
file type of all data sets as shown in the line attribute
panel.
