Error description

  • If a x'0F' is in a panel, message "IKT00405I SCREEN ERASURE
CAUSED BY ERROR RECOVERY PROCEDURE" is issued. The terminal type
is 3278 with the the default translation tables defined. The
x'0F' is marked non-displayable in the Valid Terminal Output
Translation Table.  This should be translated to a period before
the screen is sent to the terminal.

Users ISPF session fails with screen erasure problems.

Problem conclusion

  • Module ISPMBP will only prevent X'0F' from being changed to '.'
when the data is being sent to an EGCS terminal session.
