Abstract

LIC-COMM-WAIT DB2 MIRROR ENCRYPTED LINK FAILS TO START

Error Description

When the VPN connection required for an encrypted RDMA link is
in Idle state, the link is unable to automatically start.

Problem Summary

When the VPN connection required for an encrypted RDMA link is
in Idle or Error state, the link is unable to automatically
start.

Problem Conclusion

RDMA link startup has been improved so that if the VPN
connection on either the primary or secondary system is
On-Demand state while the other system is Idle or Error state,
the RDMA link will still attempt to start the VPN connection so
that the link can start.
