Abstract

LIC-COMM-TCPIP-UNPRED IPSEC INBOUND PORT VALIDATION FAILURE

Error Description

After successful IPsec processing of an inbound packet (i.e.    
decryption, authentication), validation of the packet may fail  
if the VPN connection is configured to process packets for only
certain TCP or UDP ports. This causes the packet to be dropped.

Problem Summary

After successful IPsec processing of an inbound packet (i.e.    
decryption, authentication), validation of the packet may fail  
if the VPN connection is configured to process packets for only
certain TCP or UDP ports. This causes the packet to be dropped.

Problem Conclusion

IPsec inbound validation of TCP and UDP ports is now handled    
correctly.
