Abstract
OSP-UNPRED SYSTEM HANG DUE TO STREAMS UNABLE TO ALLOCATE NEW
STREAMS MESSAGE
Error Description
System is unresponsive due to Streams unable to allocate new
Streams message. LICLOGs VL1F000009 (Stream I/O) are posted to
indicate Streams is unable to allocate new Streams message.
Problem Summary
System is unresponsive due to Streams unable to allocate new
Streams message. LICLOGs VL1F000009 (Stream I/O) are posted to
indicate Streams is unable to allocate new Streams message.
Problem Conclusion
System TLS was leaking streams messages in a path when there was
application data to be sent after the socket has already been
told that the remote side has closed the connection. This path
was updated so that the streams messages are no longer leaked.
