Abstract

LIC-OTHER-UNPRED IASP OBJECT AUTHORITY LOST DURING IASP VARY
ON AFTER HA ROLE SWAP DUE TO UID GID MISMATCH BETWEEN NODES

Error Description

Vary on of an iASP could encounter a timing window during
UID GID fixup. The extension could appear to be empty due
to a verify task which is running in parallel, and reset the
entry count. The UID GID fixup for the profile
extension is skipped. If the profile extension does not own
any objects itself (even if it has other authority entries),
then the profile may lose authority to the objects in the iASP.

Problem Summary

Please see the ERROR DESCRIPTION section.

Problem Conclusion

The UID GID mismatch processing during IASP vary on will be
corrected to avoid this timing window.
