Abstract

LIC ENABLE CODE PATH SELECTION FOR IASP VARY OFF AND QUIESCE.

Error Description

Currently the default code path for IASP vary off and quiesce is
to use multi threaded code. There is a single threaded path
that can be used, if enabled. We will provide a native macro
to allow users to select which path is used.

Problem Summary

Please see the ERROR DESCRIPTION section.

Problem Conclusion

Native macro SINGLETHREADTOGGLE will toggle the default
algorithm used when varying off IASPs. Since the default
algorithm is the multi threaded algorithm, running the macro
once will set the default algorithm to the single threaded
algorithm. Running it a second time will set the default
algorithm to the multi threaded algorithm. The macro will state
which algorithm is being set as the default algorithm.
