Abstract

OSP-INCORROUT INCORRECT OUTPUT POSSIBLE WITH RRNPROBE PLAN
(RARE) IF A S/O INDEX IS CHOSEN AS RIGHT CHILD OF AN RRNPROBE

Error Description

Incorrect output possible with RRNProbe plan (rare) if an S/O  
index is chosen as right child of an RRNProbe.                  

Problem Summary

Please see the ERROR DESCRIPTION section.                      

Problem Conclusion

On a plan re-use, the optimizer does not recognize if a host    
variable has changed to something that is no longer valid with a
given S/O index in this particular plan. A change will be made  
so that the optimizer recognizes the situation and rejects the  
cached plan.
