Abstract
LIC-DISK-OTHER-UNPRED HYPERSWAP SECONDARY MIGRATION FAILURE FOR
CERTAIN MIGRATION SEQUENCES
Error Description
When migrating from one Hyperswap Secondary to another without
an IPL, there is a recommended sequence to follow. Several
issues were found while testing other possible sequences and by
fixing these, we can improve the robustness of the design and
avoid inadvertent problems customers might hit if they don't
follow the recommendation. For the most part, the problems
encountered put the hyperswap manager in a invalid state that
required an IPL for recovery.
Problem Summary
