Abstract
LIC-F/QSRRSDEQ-T/QSRRSDEQ-RCC4C8-MSGCPF3795 RESTORING DATA AREA
WITH CACHED JOURNAL ENTRIES.
Error Description
MSGCPF3795 while update a journaled data area and journal
caching was on during RSTLICPGM of a vendor product.
Problem Summary
When journal entries are cached, the RSTLIB, RSTOBJ, and
RSTLICPGM commands fail with MSGCPF3795 RCC4C8 when attempting
to restore a journaled data area.
Problem Conclusion
Restore processing will be updated to write an object's cached
journal entries to disk before attempting to restore the
object's data.

Turn journal caching off for the journals that are affected by
the restore operation: CHGJRN JRNCACHE(*NO)
