Abstract
LIC-OTHER F/QYASSDMO T/QHASM RC0256 MSGCPFBA55 CHGASPSSN
*DETACH OPERATION FAILS
Error Description
In a geographic mirroring environment where the Primary IASP
happens to fill up and terminate, the next time CHGASPSSN
*DETACH operation is attempted following recovery of the IASP
may fail with MSGCPFBA55 RC'0256', even though DSPASPSSN
shows everything is insynch and the CRG recovery domain (WRKCLU,
option9, option6) shows both nodes as Active/Active.
Work around:
Perform a normal vary off of the Primary IASP and then vary
back on and ensure the data is synchronized, then the CHGASPSSN
*DETACH operation should work.
Problem Summary
Please see the ERROR DESCRIPTION section.
Problem Conclusion
The condition resulting from the IASP filling up which prevents
a successful detach operation will be corrected.
