Abstract
LIC-OTHER-UNPRED STALE FLAG CAUSING UNNECESSARY DIRECTORY
FIXUPS AND FULL SYNCHRONIZATIONS
Error Description
Indicator flag for full sync is not getting reset and so on
subsequent vary ons directory fixup and full synchronization
are done w/o their necessity.
Problem Summary
After a partial vary-on of a geographic mirroring target IASP an
indicator flag is left on which causes a directory fixup on
subsequent vary ons. The directory fixup will force a full
synchronization.
Problem Conclusion
The flag is now reset after a partial vary-on of a geographic
mirroring target IASP.
Temporary Fix
Comments
Circumvention
IPL the target partition or detach the target IASP and vary it
on. Either of those will reset the indicator flag.
