Abstract

LIC-MEDIA-TAPE PREPARE FOR FUTURE FUNCTION

Error Description

There are several minor enhancements in this fix.              
1. Advanced analysis macro supports setting a trap (sense data)
2. Trap may include DUMP (JAG/LTO), and a 9210 PAL will        
auto-dump.                                                      
3. Macro allows reading a dump to /QOPT/volume to gather dump  
data.                                                          
4. The error handling will not retry a HARDWARE ERROR more than
one retry.                                                      

Problem Summary

When a device problem is being investigated by development,    
there is no capability to set a trigger condition to capture LIC
flight recorders for specific device error conditions.          

Problem Conclusion

Apply this fix to allow IBM development to specify specific    
device error conditions that will capture additional FFDC.
