Abstract
LIC-OTHER-WAIT VARY OFF OF IASP HANGS DUE TO INTERNAL LOCK
EXCEPTION.
Error Description
During the vary off of an IASP which was triggered because of
failover processing, the vary off of the IASP went into a hang.
The hang was caused due to internal lock exception handling not
properly releasing a lock.
A code enhancement will allow for proper lock exception
handling and avoid the hang.
Work Around: IPL the partition and capture a MSD, but collect
all other Must Gather material first.
Problem Summary
