Abstract

LIC-MEDIA-TAPE LIBRARY RESOURCES FAIL IF INVENTORY CHANGES

Error Description

When multiple media are imported or exported for a tape library
that the system is actively moving media, the resources may go  
failed.                                                        

Problem Summary

When media is imported or exported for a tape library the      
resources may go failed.                                        

Problem Conclusion

Apply this fix to allow media change events to occur while the  
driver is moving media.  If 8 or more events occur during a    
single move, the system will log an INFO error with a 9101 URC  
and 0000009C secondary code.  If more than 12 occur during a    
single system operation, the operation will fail.
