Abstract

LIC-OTHER-LOOP GEOGRAPHIC MIRROR CAUGHT IN LOOP DURING RESYNCH
OF DATA.

Error Description

During re-synchronization of data (resume or reattach), there  
is a small timing window where a loop condition can be          
encountered and it will appear as if the re-synchronization is  
hung.                                                          
                                                               
Code is being enhanced to avoid this condition.                
                                                               
Work around: An IPL is required and a full resync will need to  
occur.                                                          

Problem Summary

During re-synchronization of data (resume or reattach), there is
a small timing window where a loop condition can be encountered

Problem Conclusion

The small timing window only exists at the point that          
synchronization is completing.  This timing window will be      
closed.
