Abstract
OSP-ADDF DISK WATCHER QAPYDWOBJR CONTEXT NAME MISSING
Error Description
The Disk Watcher file QAPYDWOBJR does not contain a context name
(field ORCONTEXT) for object types x'0B' and x'0C'.
Problem Summary
The Disk Watcher file QAPYDWOBJR does not contain a context name
(field ORCONTEXT) for object types x'0B' and x'0C'.
Problem Conclusion
Object type x'0B' is a data space associated with a database
file member. Object type x'0C' is a data space index associated
with a database file member. These objects are not put into a
context so they show up in this file without a context name.
This is also true for any object that does not have its address
stored in a context.
Because these objects are identified based on the owning file
and member and also contain a reference to that member, this PTF
will obtain the context of the owning member and report that for
the object's context name.
Note: To provide this support, additional objects are accessed.
These objects many not be resident in storage and by default,
Disk Watcher will not access nonresident objects. You can
change this behavior by specifying OBJINF(*ALL) on the ADDDWDFN
command.
