IBM i virtual Fibre Channel client partition crashes with
SRCB6000103 during a reipl of the 6B25 virtual Fibre Channel
adapter IOP. The IOP reipl is performed after a disk unit
attached to the 6B25 adapter and configured in an Independent
ASP is the target of a flash copy operation and switched over to
the client partition while the partition is active.
Problem Conclusion
If the client partition is active when the flash copy is
performed for the first time, the partition will attempt to
create a different disk resource for the target disk when the
IOP is first reipled after that. In the process of switching
from the old resource to the new resource, an exception occurs
which terminates the partition.
Licensed Internal Code will change to avoid the exception when
switching from the old to new disk resource.
