Abstract
IPL-SRCB6000103-UNPRED SYSTEM HALT DURING FIRST IPL ON TARGET
OF FLASHCOPY
Error Description
SRCB6000103 during flash copy of all LUNs using DS8K while the
source partition was still powered on, along with IPL of
target partition. MSD showed one of the SM permanent directory
pages was not written out to disk after the directory was
extended.

One of the permanent directory control pages was not written
after the permanent directory was extended. This led to an IPL
with a flash copy to fail with SRCB6000103.
Problem Conclusion
The problem is fixed so it no longer occurs.
