Error description
If a user replies to/forwards a mail from a Windows 10 device (usually whose original subject contained special characters), the subject of the resultant mail may not be properly decoded, e.g. recipient may see RE: ?? =?utf-8?B?4oKs4oKs4oKs4oKs4oKs4oKs4oKs=E2=82=AC=E2=82=AC=E2=82=A C?= Instead of expected: RE: ????????????

Problem summary
Windows change how the encoded subject test in Windows 10. This generally only causes an issue for DBCS or special characters in the subject.
Problem conclusion
The IBM Traveler server was updated to handle the new encoding methodology used by Windows 10 devices.
Temporary fix
This fix is included in IBM Traveler 9.0.1.16 and later releases. For the latest IBM Traveler maintenance release see this technote: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
