Error description

  • SPR # JKEY8SKMXW resolved issues with parsing of ics file in
    earlier releases
    of IBM Notes .

However , the current release of 9.0.1 and Fix Pack cannot open
    ics files
    supplied by the Customer .
The following IBM Notes dialog arises when you try to open

The file can be imported using the File -> Import option .

The iCalendar contains a number of Microsoft's own parameters
    such as
X-MICROSOFT-CDO-BUSYSTATUS:OOF and these come after the
    END:VEVENT parameter .
If the END:VEVENT parameter is placed after the Microsoft
    parameters as the
second last (see Other Info) , then it works ok .

Local fix

  • Use File -> Import
    OR
Edit the ics file and place the END:VEVENT parameter before
    END:VCALENDAR
