Error description

  • When opening a .JPG attachment in Lotus Notes, each time the
"How do you want to open this file?" window pops up asking if
it should keep using the same application to open the file.

Customer is using "Microsoft Photos" as the default but they
are asked every time a .jpg attachment is opened if they want
to change. Changed default app for .jpgs to "irfanview" and
then "Paint" but same issue occurred.

This only occurs with .jpg attachments in Notes 9.0.1. All
    other file extensions work correctly.

This does not occur with .jpg attachments outside Notes 9.0.1.
e.g. in Outlook .jpg files are opened without issue.

The issue only occurs with Windows 10.
