Error description
When opening hyperlinks with network drive letters, it opens up in the default web browser instead of the Windows explorer. However, with UNC network path, it opens up properly in the Windows explorer. In addition, upon opening the link in the "Run", it opens the link properly. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the folder in the Windows Explorer which you want to open. 2. Copy its location or file path. 3. Paste it in a new memo/message. 4. Go to "Create" menu > "Hotpot" > "Link hotspot". 5. Paste the file path on the "Value" field (ex. "file:///G:\Design Engineering") and it opens up in the Windows explorer properly. 6. However, change the backward slash after the network drive letter into a forward slash (ex. "file:///G:/Design Engineering") and it opens up in the default web browser. Reference: Technote 1498510 - "How to create a hotspot / hyperlink to a network share"
Local fix
Create a hyperlink with "file:///G:\Design Engineering" instead of "file:///G:/Design Engineering".
