LO88146: SSL IO ERROR IN POP3 WHEN REPLICATING EMAILS FROM OUTLOOK OFFICE 365

Error description

  • After setting up the correct POP3 settings in Notes in Windows
    8, when you replicate the emails from Outlook Office 365, the
    error "SSL IO error. Remote session no longer responding."
    appears in the Replication and Sync page.
    
    After enabling the debug parameters "pop3clientdebug=1" and
    "console_log_enabled=1", the error "POP3Client: Connect:
    Attempt to Establish SSL Session Failed. Status: 7290" shows up
    in the console log.
    
    Even after applying Notes 9.0.1 FP5 IF1, the issue still
    occurred.
