Error description
iOS device native calendar (not iOS Verse client) may not display repeating event if instances there were exceptions in the sync data are no longer synced as exceptions. This does not happen all the time. Sometimes resyncing the event to device will cause it to reappear and other times this not resolve.
Local fix
Try to force resync of event. If this does not work then resync of entire calendar (turn calendar sync off from device and then back on) will restore.
Problem summary
This is not a common issue and only seen with iOS native calendar app. An update to an instance of a repeating event that at one point was an exception, but now is a regular part of the repeating event could cause that instance to be removed from the iOS Native Calendar application.
Problem conclusion
The IBM Traveler server has been updated to handle this scenario in a manner that works well with the iOS native applications.
Temporary fix
This fix will be included in IBM Traveler 9.0.1.9 and all later releases. See this technote for the latest release information. http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
