Error description
Starting with iOS 9 the device no longer includes start/end times or timezone on updates if the update does not change the times or timezone. Traveler defaults timezone to system timezone of Traveler server if timezone info is not present from the device. This may result in timezone of existing events getting changed when device sends an update and the system timezone rules differ from the existing events timezone rules.
Local fix
Problem summary
In Apple iOS 9.x the native Apple Calendar app stopped sending the timezone for a calendar update when the date and time were not changed. This was unexpected and the IBM Traveler server could default the timezone to that of the server in this scenario.
Problem conclusion
The IBM Traveler server has been updated to recognize this change in behavior of the Apple Calendar application and correctly not use the system timezone for a Calendar update.
Temporary fix
This fix will be included in IBM Traveler 9.0.1.9 and all later releases. See this technote for the latest release information. http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
