Error description
Notes may change the parent document of a repeating event to a Notice (form is Notice) with NoticeType field of "D" (Delegated) even though the event has instance dates on it (CalendarDateTime). Notes will still display these dates but Traveler will not sync the event or will remove it from device calendar since it appears to be a Notice to Traveler. APAR will allow Traveler to sync an event in the above state if it has at least 1 child document with form of Appointment and a CalendarDateTime field.
Local fix
Problem summary
Not common but a repeating event may be altered by Notes client in such a way that it appears as a notice vs event.
Problem conclusion
IBM Traveler server has been update to recognize this scenario and correctly sync the remaining instances of the repreating event to the mobile device.
Temporary fix
This fix will be included in IBM Traveler 9.0.1.9 and all later releases. See this technote for the latest release information. http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24019529
